Science has given us extraordinary insights into the mechanics of reality. We understand quantum entanglement, DNA replication, the expanding universe, and the neural correlates of consciousness. These discoveries are magnificent achievements of human inquiry. Yet knowing how something works doesn't automatically tell us what it means or how we should respond to that knowledge. This is where philosophy becomes essential rather than optional.
